This decision on the petition by R & P Capital Resources, Inc. and Jerry L. Hildreth, Sr. for approval of a transfer of structured settlement payments addresses a significant issue of first impression regarding the extent of this court’s jurisdiction under the New York Structured Settlement Protection Act (General Obligations Law § 5-1701, et seq.)
